The PDF 4562 form is also required for the tax year. Updates for future years can be downloaded from www.MicroTechWare.com.
Setup Client or Company Information under menu Maintenance\Companies\Clients.
Input asset data under menu Tools/Assets. To aid in data input and producing reports, the default year can be set under menu item Tools/Set Default Year. If the current 179 or Auto maximum amounts are missing, these can be updated under menu Maintenance/179 Limits or Auto Maximum Rate.
Enter miscellaneous data under menu Maintenance/Miscellaneous Data.
Make sure if there are any automobiles that the Auto Qst for Employer and/or Auto Use forms are completed. These forms are under menu Tools.
Form 4562 can be run by selecting menu Reports/Form 4562. The form is displayed with the fields populated. The data can be edited, but the data will not be saved. This is not recommended. The preferred method is to adjust the data through the proper input form.
